A Magical Walk Through Harry Potter's London

London is full of iconic sights, but for any Harry Potter fan, there's an extra layer of magic hidden across the city. On my recent trip, I made it my mission to track down some of the most memorable filming locations tied to the Wizarding World — and it was unforgettable!

First stop? Platform 9¾ at King's Cross Station. It's a must for any Potterhead. Yes, I stood in line for the classic trolley photo (scarf and wand included!) and visited the official Harry Potter shop nearby. Totally worth it.

Next up was the Millennium Bridge, famously destroyed by Death Eaters in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. In real life, it’s a sleek pedestrian bridge with stunning views of the Thames and the Shard in the distance. A surreal walk for sure.

Whether you're a die-hard fan or just love a little pop culture with your travels, these stops added something truly special to my London experience.
Have you been to any Harry Potter locations in London? Let me know your favorites in the comments or on Instagram @miles_.of_.memories ! I’d love to hear what magical spots you’ve discovered.

As magical as this trip was, it definitely left me wishing I had time for even more wizarding adventures.
My "Next Time in London" Harry Potter Wish List
Even though I saw some amazing spots, there are still a few magical places I’d love to visit next time:
Warner Bros. Studio Tour — To walk through the actual sets and sip Butterbeer!
Leadenhall Market — Inspiration for Diagon Alley and full of charm.
House of MinaLima — The creative minds behind the Daily Prophet and more.
Harry Potter Walking Tour — To discover even more hidden filming gems.
Got any more I should add? Send your ideas my way!
